Job Summary: The Mammography Technologist at Discover Windsong operates mammography equipment to produce breast images for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include conducting radiology exams, ensuring quality images, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional patient care. Shifts are Monday-Friday with some Saturdays, offering flexible scheduling at various locations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of company policies, HIPAA, anatomy, and imaging protocols. Proficiency in technical skills, communication, and computer use. Ability to prioritize tasks, operate equipment, and work independently or in a team. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to change.
Education and Experience: Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology with 12 months of diagnostic radiology experience. Must hold ARRT certification in Radiology and Mammography, applicable State Licensure, and preferably BLS certification.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, stoop, walk, and perform computer-related tasks. Must have normal vision, hearing, speech, and writing abilities.
