The CT Technologist in the Radiology Department performs CT, general radiology, and fluoroscopy procedures for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include accurate imaging, patient care, data entry, radiation safety, and education. Requirements include completion of a Radiology Technology program, ARRT certification, BLS certification, and Virginia Radiologic Technologist license. Qualifications include knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a stressful environment, and operate CT scan equipment. Must be available for rotating weekends, shifts, holidays, on-call, and possess physical stamina.
