Base Wage $26.45 to $38.39

Family Medicine, Otolaryngology, Urology, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Rheumatology, Urgent Care, Neurology, Dermatology
Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating patient care activities, floating to other departments as needed, and working cooperatively within the workplace.
Essential Functions: Prepare examination rooms, coordinate patient flow, document in medical records, provide patient care, teach patients, facilitate coding and referrals, respond to codes, maintain accurate records, attend meetings, comply with policies.
Education: High School graduate or GED, completion of approved medical assisting program, Medical Assistant Certification required.
Experience/Training: Previous related experience preferred.
License/Certifications: Current Washington State Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C), AHA Healthcare provider BLS required.
Other Skills: Effective communication, problem-solving, analytical skills, ability to prioritize workload, knowledge of healthcare environment, EMR experience, bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Physical Demands: Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, potential exposure to biohazard waste.
