The job requires a competent Nurse to provide routine and complex care independently in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, administering medications, documenting patient care, and providing education. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations, and technical competencies in clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing specialty experience, BLS certification, RN license, attendance at New Nurses Orientation, completion of annual competency verification, and certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring and ACLS/NRP within specific timeframes. The work schedule is full-time from 7AM to 7PM.
