Education: Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Certification/Licenses: Current New Mexico LPN license required, BLS Certification required. Skills: Must pass LPN skills competency checklist, IV Therapy Certification preferred. Experience: Six months of hospital experience required. Nature of Supervision: Responsible to Manager or Director. Environment: Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases. Physical Requirements: Ability to handle emergency situations, prolonged standing/walking, heavy physical effort, bending, kneeling, and fine motor coordination.
