Summary: Licensed Psychologists provide psychology and psychiatry services for children and adolescents ages 2 to 18 with behavioral, neurodevelopmental, and emotional challenges. Responsibilities include providing psychotherapy, administering psychological testing, and understanding pediatric/adolescent growth and brain development. Preferred experience in pediatric mental health diagnoses, treatment milieu, and psychological tests.
Required Education & Experience: Doctoral Degree in Psychology, training in child growth and development, experience with various treatment milieu and psychological tests. Preferred experience with ADHD, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and trauma-informed care. Prior pediatric setting experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, commitment to patient care, and leadership development.
Required Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification: Licensed Psychologist in Texas or Provisionally Licensed Psychologist close to licensure. CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
