The job involves performing Disability Assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits process. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will review medical records, conduct in-person physical exams, and document findings electronically. This role does not involve making disability determinations, treating, or prescribing medication. Key attributes include proficiency in data analysis, time management, and holding a current NP or PA license. The position is full-time, in-person, and requires assessing 3-5 Veterans per day during normal business hours. Training, support, health insurance, and a computer are provided.
