Competent Nurse responsible for providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks. Must meet specific competencies, utilize nursing process, address patient needs, administer medications, and document care. Required to anticipate patient flow needs, manage unit operations, ensure safe practice and quality care, and comply with regulations. Technical competencies include clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Education requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, and RN license. Position-specific requirements include attending orientation, completing competency verifications, and obtaining certifications in Perinatal RN Residency, NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring, STABLE, ACLS, and NRP. Full-time position with a work schedule of 7PM – 7AM.
