The job requires a competent Nurse to provide routine and complex care independently, address patient needs, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families. Competencies include utilizing the nursing process, ensuring patient safety, and complying with regulations. Technical competencies involve clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, attendance at New Nurses Orientation, and completion of annual competency verification. Preferred qualifications include experience in a Perinatal setting, certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN courses, ACLS certification, and NRP certification. The work schedule is Per Diem As Needed.
