The Nurse is responsible for providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks to other care providers. They must meet competency standards, utilize the nursing process, address patient needs, administer medications, document care, and provide education. The Nurse must also ensure patient safety, comply with regulations, and demonstrate technical competencies in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, completion of orientation and competencies, and certifications in STABLE, NRP, and ACLS. The work schedule is from 7AM to 7PM, full-time.
