The GI Registered Nurse is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical interventions. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as ensuring effective communication with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers. Requirements include one year of recent experience in the GI setting, willingness to accept call duty, and current Louisiana RN License, BLS, and ACLS certifications. This position is on a per diem basis with a flexible work schedule.
