Competent Nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating care. Responsibilities include meeting OneCHRISTUS Competencies, utilizing the nursing process, addressing patient needs, administering treatments, and educating patients. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations, and technical competencies in clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing specialty experience, BLS certification, and RN license. Full-time position with a varied work schedule.
