The Nurse is responsible for providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks to other care providers. They must meet specific competencies, utilize the nursing process, address patient needs, administer medications, and document care given. The Nurse must also demonstrate proficiency in patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations, and technical competencies related to clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS, RN license, ACLS, PALS, crisis intervention training, and TNCC for trauma facilities. The work schedule is from 7PM to 7AM for a full-time position.
