The job entails providing routine and complex care independently in a clinical setting, focusing on long-range goals and plans. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, utilizing the nursing process, administering medications, documenting patient care, and educating patients. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, managing patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, and regulations. Technical competencies include clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing specialty experience, BLS certification, and an RN license. The work schedule is per diem as needed.
