The Nurse is responsible for providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks to other care providers. They must meet competency standards, utilize the nursing process, address patient needs, administer medications, and document care given. The role involves patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, and adherence to regulations. Technical competencies include clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS, RN license, ACLS, PALS, and crisis intervention training. The work schedule is full-time from 7PM to 7AM.
