The COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Requirements include NBCOT certification, ASOT graduate, state licensure, CPR certification, and one year of experience in post-acute care. Job responsibilities include following treatment plans, charting, utilizing therapy software, providing excellent customer service, assisting in patient evacuation, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
