The PACU Registered Nurse at Springfield Memorial Hospital provides immediate post-op care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery or procedures. Responsibilities include delegation, supervision, and provision of nursing care, participation in research, and adherence to quality improvement processes and ethical standards. Qualifications include RN licensure in Illinois and current BLS/CPR certification. Must possess physical coordination for patient care duties and be able to withstand prolonged standing.
