The Nurse at this hospital must meet competency standards, provide nursing care using the nursing process, address complex patient needs, administer medications, document patient care, assess learning needs, and provide education. They must utilize critical thinking skills, communicate effectively, develop individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure patient safety. Technical competencies include following clinical policies, health information documentation, using medical equipment, processing medical orders, reading patient charts, and ensuring patient safety. Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, one year of nursing experience, a current Texas State RN License or Compact RN License, BLS certification, ACLS certification, PALS certification, and crisis intervention training. Work schedule is full-time.
