The job requires a competent Nurse to provide routine and complex care independently, address patient needs, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families. The Nurse must utilize critical thinking skills, follow nursing process, ensure patient safety, and comply with regulations. Technical competencies include clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, attendance at New Nurses Orientation, completion of annual competency verification, and certifications in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, STABLE, ACLS, and NRP. The position is full-time with a work schedule of 7PM – 7AM.
