Provides professional patient care in the office. Responsibilities include taking patient history, conferring with physicians, developing care plans, prescribing medications, providing diagnosis and treatment services, patient education, appointment bookings, and overseeing prescription requests. No supervisory responsibilities. Requires NP degree, current licensure, at least two years of experience, ability to make independent decisions, experience in diagnosing and treating patients, knowledge of managed care basics, and good communication skills.
