Manager Mechanical ensures activities are performed safely and in compliance with regulatory and maintenance standards. Provides leadership in safety, service, productivity, and financial metrics. Develops and communicates key performance indicators, ensures compliance with safety policies, and interacts with field operations. Manages union relationships, implements Lean continuous improvement, and ensures repairs meet standards. Requires high school diploma, understanding of collective agreements, railway operations knowledge, and availability on a 7×24 basis. Must interact effectively with stakeholders, resolve complex issues, and make decisions within authority limits.
