Competent Nurse in Critical Care setting practices independently, provides routine and complex care, makes appropriate assignments, and delegates tasks. Meets competencies, provides nursing care using the nursing process, administers medications, documents patient care, assesses learning needs, and educates patients. Utilizes Nursing Process, ensures patient throughput and flow, manages unit operations, practices safe care, and complies with regulations. Possesses technical competencies in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Requires BSN, 2 years Critical Care experience, BLS, ACLS, RN license, and full-time availability.
