The job requires a competent Nurse to provide routine and complex care independently, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, and educating patients and caregivers. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations, and technical competencies in clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing specialty experience, BLS certification, and an RN license. The work schedule is Per Diem As Needed.
