Directs and provides professional post-anesthesia nursing care for patients of all ages, utilizing the nursing process. Supervises PACU/pre-operative staff, making decisions in the absence of higher management. Requires RN license, BLS certification, and ability to work effectively with others. Preferred experience in PACU, ambulatory care, or critical care. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing most of the time, and manual dexterity. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and irregular work hours.
