Competent Nurse in Medsurg/Telemetry setting practices independently, providing routine and complex care. Develops coping skills for clinical contingencies, makes appropriate assignments, and delegates care. Utilizes nursing process, administers medications, documents care, and educates patients. Demonstrates core competencies in nursing practice, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, and regulations. Possesses technical competencies in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading/interpretation, and patient safety. Requires BSN, 2 years of Medsurg/Telemetry experience, BLS, ACLS, RN license, and PALS certification. Full-time position with flexible work schedule.
