Competent Nurse in Critical Care setting practices independently, provides routine and complex care, makes appropriate assignments, and delegates care. Meets competencies, provides nursing care using the nursing process, administers medications, documents care, assesses learning needs, and educates patients. Utilizes Nursing Process, Patient Throughput & Flow, Unit Operations, Safe Practice/Quality Care/Regulations. Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations. Technical competencies include Clinical Policies and Standards, Health Information Documentation, Medical Equipment, Medical Order Processing, Patient Chart Reading and Interpretation, and Patient Safety. Requirements: BSN preferred, 2 years Critical Care experience, BLS, ACLS, RN License, PALS, NRP. Work Schedule: 7PM – 7AM, Per Diem.
