Competent Nurse practicing independently in clinical setting, providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating care. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, utilizing nursing process, addressing patient needs, administering treatments, and educating patients. Core competencies involve utilizing nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, and regulations. Technical competencies include clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, completion of orientation and competencies, and certifications in Perinatal RN Residency, STABLE, and NRP. Part-time position with flexible work schedule.
