Experienced physician leader needed to oversee multiple free standing ERs within the LewisGale system. Job entails managing 85K annual ED volume, 506 hospital beds, and ensuring 64 hours physician coverage and 70 hours NP/PA coverage. Requirements include ABEM/ABEOM certification, ATLS history, BE/BC within 7 years of residency completion, and previous medical leadership experience. Free standing ERs have 11 beds, 24hr physician coverage, and onsite lab, X-ray, and CT services. LewisGale Medical Center is a 506-bed facility with top quality measures. Salem, VA offers natural beauty, good neighborhoods, and recreational activities. Full-time position with salary range of $450,000.00 – $550,000.00 per year, including bonus opportunities and signing bonus. Requires 1 year of recent emergency medicine leadership, DEA, board certification in emergency medicine, and VA medical license. Relocation to Roanoke, VA 24012 with employer-provided package.
