The Nurse is responsible for providing routine and complex care, administering medications, documenting patient information, assessing learning needs, and ensuring patient safety. They must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, have at least 1 year of related nursing experience, hold necessary certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS, and be able to work on a per diem basis. The role requires proficiency in utilizing the nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, and technical competencies related to clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety.
