The Nurse is responsible for providing routine and complex care, administering medications, documenting patient information, assessing learning needs, and educating patients and caregivers. They must utilize critical thinking skills, communicate effectively with the healthcare team, implement evidence-based practice, and ensure patient safety. The role also involves managing patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Technical competencies include following clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment use, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS, RN license, ACLS, PALS, crisis intervention training, and TNCC for trauma facilities. The work schedule is from 7PM to 7AM, full-time.
