Summary: The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while developing skills to manage contingencies. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, assessing learning needs, and educating patients. Core competencies include utilizing the nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations, and technical competencies in clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS, RN License, ACLS, PALS, crisis intervention training, and TNCC for trauma facilities. Work schedule is 7PM – 7AM, full-time.
