Provides direct patient care by evaluation and treatment in patient population served according to age and condition. Actively seeks to improve knowledge and skills of self and others. Provides appropriate leadership. Meets competency requirements. Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate. Responsibilities include direct patient care, documentation, meeting clinical productivity standards, and assisting in policy development. Minimum requirements include a degree from an APTA Accredited school of Physical Therapy and less than three years of licensure.
