The job requires a competent Nurse to provide routine and complex care independently, addressing patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs. The Nurse must utilize critical thinking skills, implement evidence-based practice, and ensure patient safety. They should be knowledgeable about healthcare laws and regulations, possess technical competencies in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. The candidate must hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, have at least 1 year of related nursing experience, possess a BLS certification, and hold an RN license in the state of employment or compact. Additionally, they should have completed New Nurses Orientation, annual competency verification requirements, and hold certifications in STABLE and NRP. The work schedule is PRN.
