Use radioactive materials to diagnose and treat diseases under physician supervision. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging devices, and ensure patient safety. Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, prepare patients, operate equipment, and evaluate images. Follow safety protocols, maintain records, and assist with patient care. Requires CNMT or ARRT(N) certification, IEMA-DNS Nuclear Medicine accreditation, and CPR/BLS certification. Must have problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and adaptability skills. Works independently with limited supervision. Moderate noise level in work environment. Provides clinical supervision to allied health students and radiology aides.
