The Nurse in Medsurg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care provides routine and complex care, makes appropriate assignments, and delegates tasks. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, addressing patient needs, administering medications, and providing education. Competencies cover patient care, patient flow, unit operations, safe practice, quality care, regulations, and technical skills in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 2 years of experience in relevant areas, BLS, ACLS, RN license, and PALS certification. The work schedule is part-time from 7PM to 7AM.
