The job requires a competent Nurse to provide routine and complex care independently in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, administering medications, documenting patient care, and providing education to patients and families. The Nurse must meet specific competencies related to patient care, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, and regulations. Technical competencies in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety are also essential. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, BLS certification, RN license, and certifications in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, and NRP. The work schedule is full-time from 7AM to 7PM.
