The job requires a competent Nurse to provide routine and complex care independently in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, administering medications, documenting patient care, and providing education. The Nurse must meet specific competencies related to patient care, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations, and technical competencies in clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS, RN License, ACLS, NIHSS, de-escalation training, TNCC, and PALS certifications. The work schedule is 7PM – 7AM on a per diem as needed basis.
