Competent Nurse in Critical Care setting practices independently, provides routine and complex care, makes appropriate assignments, and delegates tasks. Meets competencies, provides nursing care using the nursing process, administers medications, documents care, assesses learning needs, and educates patients. Utilizes critical thinking skills, plans for patient flow, directs nursing care, ensures safe practice, and complies with regulations. Possesses technical competencies in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Requires BSN, 2 years of Critical Care experience, BLS, ACLS, RN license, PALS, and NRP certifications. Per Diem work schedule from 7PM-7AM.
