Assist the Charge Nurse in providing nursing care and services to residents, ensuring their medical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs are met. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, restorative nursing functions, responding to resident needs, maintaining a safe environment, completing documentation, attending meetings, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications include a high school diploma or G.E.D., certification as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant or eligibility for Nurse Aide Competency Examination, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
