Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, and provision of nursing care. Supervises other staff and may act as a charge nurse. Involves caring for various patient populations. Implements care plans, evaluates patient responses, provides education, and ensures effective communication. Demonstrates competencies in nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice, and regulations. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, RN license, and BLS certification. Work schedule is per diem.
