The Acute Trauma Medical Surgical unit is a 40-bed mixed unit specializing in medical monitored patients, traumatic injuries, post-operative care, and bariatric surgery. The team includes PCTs, a Mobility Technician, wound care nurse, and a charge nurse. Registered Professional Nurses are responsible for patient care, requiring 1 year of experience and a current RN license in Texas.
