Competent Nurse with $10K sign-on bonus. Provides routine and complex care, makes appropriate assignments, and delegates care. Works in a 27-bed cardiac medical-surgical telemetry unit. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, utilizing nursing process, addressing patient needs, administering medications, and providing education. Must demonstrate core competencies in nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations, and technical competencies in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading/interpretation, and patient safety. Requires Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 1 year of related experience, BLS, RN license, ACLS within 6 months, and EKG within 90 days. Full-time position with varying work schedule.
