Summary: The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, and ensuring patient safety. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, and technical competencies related to clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, completion of orientation and competency verification requirements, and certifications in Perinatal RN Residency, NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, and NRP. Work schedule is per diem as needed.
