The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, and educating patients. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations, and technical competencies in clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, and an RN license. The work schedule is part-time.
