$10K hiring incentive available for RNs with a minimum of 2 years labor and delivery experience. Competent Nurse practices independently, provides routine and complex care, makes appropriate assignments, and delegates care. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient care, and addressing patient needs. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care/regulations, and technical competencies. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred, BLS certification, RN license, and completion of orientation and competency verifications. Position requirements include attending orientation, precepting, and completing competency validations. Work schedule is 7AM – 7PM, full-time. Certifications required include NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring, AWHONN courses, NRP, and ACLS preferred.
