The Nurse in Medsurg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care practices independently, providing routine and complex care. Responsibilities include assessment, medication administration, patient education, and documentation. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, and regulations. Technical competencies cover clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 2 years of experience in Medsurg/Telemetry and Intermediate Care, BLS, ACLS, RN License, and PALS certification. Work schedule is 7PM – 7AM, part-time.
