The GI Registered Nurse is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical interventions. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as ensuring effective communication with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers. Requirements include one year of recent experience in the GI setting, willingness to accept call duty, current Louisiana RN License, BLS and ACLS certifications. The work schedule is Per Diem, and the position requires adherence to the hospital’s mission, core values, and strategic plan.
