Competent Nurse practicing independently in clinical setting, providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments and delegations. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, utilizing nursing process, administering medications, documenting care, and educating patients. Core competencies involve utilizing nursing process, patient throughput, unit operations, safe practice/quality care, regulations, technical competencies in clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, patient safety. Job requirements include Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, completion of orientation and competencies. Preferred experience in Perinatal setting, certifications in STABLE and NRP. Work schedule is 7PM – 7AM, full-time position.
