The Nurse is responsible for providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks to other care providers. They must meet specific competencies, utilize the nursing process, address patient needs, administer medications, and document care given. The role involves utilizing critical thinking skills, patient throughput management, unit operations oversight, safe practice and quality care adherence, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Technical competencies include clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment knowledge, medical order processing, patient chart reading and interpretation, and patient safety practices. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS, RN license, ACLS, PALS, crisis intervention training, and TNCC for trauma facilities. The work schedule is from 7PM to 7AM, full-time.
