The CT Technologist performs CT, radiology, and fluoroscopy procedures for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate imaging and patient care. Responsibilities include positioning patients, administering contrast, reporting findings, and ensuring safety measures. Requirements include completion of a Radiology Technology program, ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications, BLS certification, and Virginia Radiologic Technologist license. Must have knowledge of human growth and development, computer technology, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Strong communication skills, ability to work in a stressful environment, operate CT equipment, and work varying shifts are essential. Non-exempt position with physical demands.
